sewing my dream summer wardrobe 🪡

This year I finally made my lifelong dream come true- I designed and handmade my own summer capsule wardrobe out of thrifted and sustainably sourced (as possible) materials in my favorite color palette. The design choices were highly influenced by my love of cottage core, history bounding and dance. While the sewing techniques employed in this project were all beginner/intermediate level this is a huge accomplishment for me and I'm so excited to share the process and finished pieces with you. I didn't use any patters and either free styled using historical sewing techniques I learned from YouTubers like Maria Pattie and Bernadette Banner or copied favorite items I already owned. If you have any questions about this project or individual pieces or suggestions for how I can level up as I continue on to sew cold weather pieces please leave a comment below!
