Thrifted Sheet to Summer Dress 🪡
I got really into the history bounding subgenre of SewingTube in the last year and learned how chemises (historical underdresses) work (simple rectangle shapes) and since then I've enjoyed making a couple without using patterns! In this video I powered out a freestyled oversized chemise (borrowing an existing item for some help with the sleeve shape in around three hours using just a thrifted sheet (and thrifted thread!) Let me know if you have any no-pattern sewing project suggestions or any questions about how I put this together! I might be basic and do a pirate shirt next... or maybe a bodice made of a thrifted rug?
