Reviving the Abandoned Cabin's Garden
In this episode of the fixing up the abandoned cabin series I start making progress on reviving the garden and outdoor areas! I moved into this abandoned hunting cabin in late march after spending late fall and early winter cleaning out and lightly renovating the space. This cabin was built in the 80s by a homesteading family who put in the initial orchard and had a small vegetable and flower garden. The next owner who used it as a hunting cabin mowed the grass but didn't do anything to the landscape and abandoned the property entirely due to health problems over five years ago. Now that I am living on the property it's up to me to breath life back into the landscape.
