Cleaning Out the Back Room of the Abandoned Cabin

I finally tackled cleaning out the disgusting, mouse poop infested back room of the abandoned cabin. I started out barely seeing the potential of the space as more than a storage area but by the time it was cleaned up I could see the bones of my future art studio and bedroom! Because yes… at least in the moment of this caption I think I will be moving out of my yurt and fully into the cabin in the spring. I almost cut out the parts of this video where I’m talking about emotional challenges I’m going through - I know that some people are just here for the renovation and not for the backstory. But I also know that almost everyone is going through something right now and it can be healing to acknowledge that together and not only present the happy/shiny parts of our lives for the internet. 💘

Any big project tends to be a bit of an emotional journey and this abandoned cabin is no exception! I try to add chapters so you can skip ahead if the yapping gets boring!
