Building a Cover for the Yurt Entrance

In this video I document the saga of building a cover for the entrance to my tiny 19ft yurt taking the experience from chaos to cozy. Covering the front door and steps is a huge improvement to my quality of life in a rainy climate and I’m so grateful to my friend Jai who lives on the farm for helping me create a low cost custom solution. The cover materials cost $136 total. Supplies are 5 pieces of 2 inch by 10 ft long electrical PVC conduit pipes, 3 2x4x8 treated wood planks, two tarps, paracord and 6 metal fence posts if you want to try your own version.
